The Halal Certification Authority of Malaysia is one of the most rigorous Halal accreditation bodies in the world. Its standard is recognised across the GCC, South-East Asia and Europe — so Vitamynx products are accepted in markets where less rigorous, self-declared 'Halal-friendly' labels fall short.

Halal certification for supplements is harder than it sounds. Vitamins and minerals pass through long supply chains, and ingredients that look simple on a label can be processed using animal-derived gelatine, alcohol-based solvents, or carriers that aren't permissible. A genuine certificate has to follow every one of those steps.

Unlike a marketing claim, Halal certification audits the entire chain: the raw ingredients and their suppliers, the manufacturing site, the processing aids, the coatings and binders, and the packaging and storage. Nothing is taken on trust — it is documented and inspected.

For Vitamynx that is a deliberate choice. We make our gummies on a fruit-pectin base instead of gelatine, we avoid pork-derived processing aids, and we manufacture in a GMP-approved facility. Halal certification is the independent proof that we do what we say.

Are Vitamynx gummies halal? Yes. Every product in the range is certified Halal by the Halal Certification Authority, covering ingredients, manufacturing, processing and packaging — not just a self-declared label.

Are they suitable for vegans? Yes. All Vitamynx gummies are made on a plant-derived fruit-pectin base with no animal gelatine, so they are 100% vegan as well as Halal. Our magnesium is supplied as capsules, which are also vegan and Halal.

Is pectin halal? Yes. Pectin is a fibre found naturally in fruit such as apples and citrus. It is entirely plant-based, which is why we use it instead of gelatine to set our gummies.

What does the certificate actually cover? The authority audits the complete supply chain: the raw ingredients and their suppliers, the production site, every processing aid and coating, and the final packaging and storage.
